A small firm that does serious work.
Elfatrany is a boutique technology consultancy. Senior practitioners, no pyramid. We were founded on a simple bet: small teams of experienced people, given real ownership, beat the alternative.
The firm
Why we built it this way.
We were started by people who had spent careers inside the kinds of organizations we now serve. We saw the hand-offs that slowed work down, the decks that papered over real questions, and the gap between what was promised and what was delivered. We built Elfatrany to do it differently.
Today we work as a small, senior team out of the United States, with a small set of clients we know by name. We do not have a sales floor or a bench. We take on engagements we believe in, deliver them with the people who pitched them, and only grow when the work calls for it.
We are signatories to no manifesto and members of no association. The firm answers to its clients and to its principals. Our promise is independence of judgment, continuity of staffing, and the discipline to leave when the work no longer needs us.

Senior all the way down
Every engagement is led and delivered by senior practitioners. No partner-and-fade, no junior bench drag.
Few clients, deep work
We take on a small number of engagements each year so we can stay long enough to make the work hold.
We say what we think
Independent judgment is what you are hiring. We would rather lose a deal than nod through a bad plan.

Sammy Elfatrany
Founded Elfatrany after a career spent inside the firms we now advise. Leads strategy and design engagements. Operates the Elfatrany Design practice.
Practice Lead, Engineering
Senior platform engineer with two decades of production experience across cloud, data, and reliability. Leads the engineering practice and our most demanding delivery work.
Practice Lead, AI & Data
Applied AI practitioner with a research background and a builder's instinct. Leads our AI work, with a focus on systems that hold up after the demo.
Where we are
United States. Remote-first.
Our principals are based in the United States. We work remotely with our clients by default and travel to be in the room when the work calls for it. Most engagements include at least one in-person session per phase.
We hire when the work calls for it.
We don't keep a bench. We hire senior practitioners (engineers, designers, strategists) when an engagement makes a permanent role obvious. If your work might fit ours, we would genuinely like to hear from you.
